McCann Partners has partnered with a logistics company in Lincoln Park to hire and onboard a Senior Product Manager, Enterprise Integrations, for full-time employment. The resource may work onsite or be 100% remote; applicants should anticipate traveling approximately 50% of the time.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As the Senior Product Manager, Enterprise Integrations, you will focus on developing a robust integration platform that delivers a seamless trading partner onboarding experience, provides real-time network insights, and ensures the company’s network can scale at the rate of tomorrow’s business. You will be responsible for managing the complete product lifecycle of the organization’s enterprise integration platform experience, including EDI, API, and RPA integrations. Facilitating and leading continuous improvement initiatives will be a primary objective as you pursue integration utilization efficiency. You’ll work across all of the organization and take a logical approach to identify business, market, and cross-functional issues, analyze, prioritize, and plan activities accordingly. To function as the voice of the customer, you will have a technical background, go unreasonably deep to understand the user and business needs, study industry trends, and leverage data to drive the strategic roadmap that increases speed to value realization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the enterprise integration platform and manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical execution to go-to-market and product release.
- Synthesize complex use cases and requirements into an actionable roadmap that provides value to customers and delivers business results.
- Analyze data and collaborate with customers, partners, and stakeholders to capture feedback, understand business needs, and build consensus.
- Foster trusted relationships with the company’s network of integration specialists, contractors, and partners, and manage multiple parallel initiatives while ensuring business continuity.
- Set and measure KPIs that drive key product and business decisions forward.
- Produce high-quality deliverables with high attention to detail, including investment theses, documentation, test cases, and training/enablement.
- Collaborate with software engineering team(s) to define scope, establish development estimates, and schedule releases.
- Partner with UX and design team in prototyping solutions that foster feedback cycles with customers.
- Maintain a prioritized product backlog, including new features, enhancements, and defects.
- Participate in agile ceremonies with Engineering, QA, and UX teams during sprints.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of direct product management experience, ideally on B2B enterprise SaaS products.
- Prior experience with vendor/trading partner onboarding, leveraging EDI, API, or another integration platform as a service (iPaaS) solutions in either a support or implementation role
- Hands-on experience with many of the following tools and data formats:
- EDI, XML, and JSON.
- S/FTP, AS2, and API connectivity protocols.
- iPaaS/ESB solutions.
- Altova MapForce, BizTalk Server, or other comparable visual mapping tools.
- Strong understanding of best practices around integration design patterns and error handling/recovery.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to rapidly develop and cultivate trusted relationships with peers, partners, and key influencers.
- Experience presenting to executive leadership, participating in the sales cycle, and handling sensitive customer escalations.
- Know how to say “no,” make tough trade-offs, and defend decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process, principles, and SDLC tools.
- Keen eye for design best practices and familiar with user experience tools and frameworks.
- Growth mindset and positive “can do” attitude.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- This position requires travel to customers and partners (approximately 50% of the time).
