McCann Partners has partnered with a national client to support them in hiring a Windows Migration Scheduling Coordinator for 4+ month contract engagement. The hiring need is immediate, and resource will need to work onsite in the client's San Francisco office for the entirety of the project effort.
POSITION SUMMARY
Our client is doing a companywide Windows 10 Migration Effort. They are upgrading to their Windows 10 image which will include deployment of an upgraded document management system and Microsoft Office 365, on new and used computers. The effort will touch their more than 5,000 end users across the U.S. offices.
To support the effort, our client is onboarding a Windows Migration Scheduling Coordinator; the resource will work collaboratively with both the technical support and project teams to support the migration effort.
Following a scripted process, the Windows Migration Scheduling Coordinator will work through the Firm to support the scheduling and coordination process for the project efforts. Candidate will need to be detailed-oriented and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced project environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills also will be key to the candidate’s success in the role. Solid MS Office Suite capabilities also will be important as the candidates will be collaborating with internal stakeholders to schedule their migration times, as well as support all communications leading up to that time, as well as post-migration follow-up.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Technical skills REQUIRED for this assignment:
- Basic yet solid tech experience.
- Should know their way around a PC.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Curious, self-motivated, independent.
- Microsoft Office experience.
Other helpful technical skills:
- Previous experience supporting such a project effort.
- Strong calendaring experience via Outlook.
- Exposure to SharePoint and a Service Management tool (e.g., Ivanti).
Essential non-technical skills:
- Should have effective communication capabilities, both written and verbal.
