IT Staffing Business Development Manager (Remote)
McCann Partners is a leading provider of IT Staffing Services in the Chicago area with an emerging footprint nationally.
The team is growing, and we are looking to onboard a Business Development Manager to sell our portfolio of staffing services. We have a significant amount of business we are servicing today that this person will assume responsibility for, in addition to helping us identify and grow new customers.
The ideal professional we seek is a person of character, integrity, energy, and ambition who has successfully sold IT Staffing Services and takes pride in the relationships they have built and partnered with during their tenure in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling, planning, and attending onsite client meetings in Chicago.
- Building and strengthening relationships with hiring managers, key decision-makers, and stakeholders.
- Increasing headcount, revenue, and gross margins from an existing account base.
- Executing a multi-faceted prospecting plan through cold calling, emailing, leveraging personal contacts, and following up on company-generated leads.
- Partnering with our Recruiting Team, working together to ensure success with client-candidate relationships.
- Keeping client information and sales leads in CRM (Bullhorn).
- Participating in weekly sales meetings to include accurate sales pipeline forecasting.
- Attending networking events, conferences, and tradeshows to build relationships and create new business opportunities.
Experience & Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in a client-facing role; IT Staffing and Recruitment industry experience required.
- Experience selling directly to Fortune 1000 corporate CIOs, VPs of Application Development, IT Directors, Managers, and various Business Unit Leads.
- Excellent planning, time management, decision-making, presentation, and organization skills.
- Thorough understanding of metrics and tasks required to meet and exceed quarterly and yearly business development goals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- BA/BS Degree from a four-year college or university.
- A team player who understands the value of working collaboratively with other group members.
- Superior analytical skills and solid strategic thinking capabilities.
- Must have a four (4) year college degree or equivalent industry experience.
